VECTORVAULT

In the world of design, there are two primary image file formats:

Raster images are the most commonly used. They are made up of pixels. Anyone who has taken a digital photo or looked at an image on the web knows that when you blow these images up they eventually become pixelated.

Vector images are created mathematically using points and lines. The advantage of this is that vector art can be altered in size and shape and never degrade in resolution. It makes their file size small and easy to transfer This is why most graphic designers create logos in vector format. (more detailed definition here)

After 16 years of design, I have accumulated a large amount of what I call “vector extras”. In essence, they are a collection of logos and illustrations that I refer to from time to time to design with.

In 2005, I came to the realization that I was not the only one who had a collection like this. In fact, I was surprised to learn how valuable these images were. So I devised a plan to create the best vector art community in the world.

Today, VECTORVAULT is a juggernaut. It’s membership has swelled to over 16,500 international members with a strong traffic flow.

The VECTORVAULT™ STORE has been populated with a wide range of vector based illustrations and products. It’s sales continue to climb thanks to a growing affiliate program that puts money in the pockets of savvy bloggers.

Brand awareness is at an all time high. For this, I have Jeff Nolan of Nolan Interactive to thank. He’s the man behind the curtain and a valuable resource for me.
